Sriveda Handlooms

The challenge

Sriveda Handlooms makes and sells Mangalagiri pattu, ikkat and handloom sarees, both to individual customers and to shops and wholesale buyers. Most sales came through their showroom, Instagram and WhatsApp messages. That meant every price, product photo and order detail had to be sent by hand, wholesale buyers had no proper place to see the range, and nothing customers asked about was recorded anywhere.

What we built

We built one website that serves both kinds of buyer, with a studio behind it so the owners can change anything themselves without calling a developer.

• An online shop with products, fabrics and collections, each with its own page and photos
• Cart and checkout, ready for Razorpay online payments
• Separate enquiry paths for retail, wholesale and custom orders, with every enquiry saved and emailed to the team
• Downloadable catalogues for wholesale and export buyers
• Pages for manufacturing, export, their story, videos and a journal (blog)
• WhatsApp and Instagram buttons on every page
• A studio (admin) with a page builder: change the homepage, save drafts, preview, schedule and publish
• Product, media, enquiry and order management, with team logins by role
• Fast, mobile-first pages built for Google, scoring 96 to 100 on Google's Lighthouse test for the home page on mobile

How it helps the business

• Shoppers can browse the full range and buy at any hour, not only when the showroom is open
• Wholesale and custom buyers have their own route, so bulk orders are not lost among retail chats
• Every enquiry is recorded with what the buyer wanted, so the team can follow up properly
• The owners update products, prices and the homepage themselves, so the site always shows what is in stock
